d) Permanent Residence Permit (Investment / Long-Term Stay)

This permit is granted to a foreign citizen — and their family members — who has either:

  • Made a direct investment of at least USD 300,000 (or its Lari equivalent) in Country Georgia, according to the relevant legislation, OR

  • Owns real estate in Country Georgia (excluding agricultural land) with a market value exceeding USD 300,000 (Lari equivalent). (Note: Specific conditions apply, including potential requirements for annual turnover for investment-based permits).

b) Investment Residence Permit

This permit is issued to a foreigner who owns immovable property (real estate) in Country Georgia (excluding agricultural land).

  • Requirement: The market value of the property must exceed the equivalent of USD 100,000 in Georgian Lari.

  • This permit can also be granted to the property owner’s spouse and children

e) Short-Term Residence Permit (Based on Real Estate Ownership)

This permit is issued to family members (spouse, minor child, dependent parent) of a foreigner who already holds a valid Country Georgia residence permit.

c) Residence Permit for Family Reunification

This type of permit is issued to foreigners admitted to study at authorized educational institutions in Country Georgia.
